cDNA libraries and IGF

As part of our functional genomics program we have extracted RNA and made cDNA libraries from 35 developmental stages and stress treatments in the wheat variety Mercia. We can use this information to help us learn which genes are switched on and off during the development of wheat grains, and when plants are subjected to stresses such as nitrate starvation, cold and waterlogging. Many of these cDNA libraries correspond to developmental stages shown on this site.

See the cerealsDB site for the latest information on the cDNA libraries: http://www.cerealsdb.uk.net/wheat.htm
